Helping higher education fulfill its promise.

I design and support instructional technology systems that help faculty create learning experiences students remember, value, and carry forward.

Higher education should not feel passive, disconnected, or forgettable. My work is about building the systems, tools, templates, training, and support structures that make excellent learning easier to create — and harder to ignore.

Meet Me

I'm I'm an Instructional Design Consultant at FIU Online, where I work with faculty and instructional designers to build online courses grounded in learning science and Quality Matters standards. Most of that work is hands-on — I've supported 40+ courses, contributed to nearly 20 QM-certified ones, and I lead the FIU Online Showcase Course. The parts I enjoy most sit between people and technology: helping a tool get adopted, building a template that saves faculty real time, or designing a custom GPT that makes support feel more human. Ultimately, I'm drawn to instructional technology when it helps people care more deeply about teaching and learning — and that's the kind of work I'd like to keep doing.

My Impact

  • 40+ Online Courses Supported

  • ~20 QM-Certified Courses

  • 50+ Faculty & Designers Partners

  • 20+ Presentations Delivered

  • 8 National & Institutional Conferences

How I Lead

  • Learning Technology Strategy

I evaluate, implement, and connect the tools that shape how courses get built. From CidiLabs DesignPLUS and Multi-Tool to PlayPosit/WeVideo, Qualtrics LTI, and CourseWell, my focus is never the tool for its own sake — it's whether it solves a real teaching or learning problem. I work to make sure technology decisions serve instruction, integrate cleanly into the LMS, and hold up when faculty actually use them.

  • Faculty & Team Enablement

Tools only matter if people can use them. I turn platforms into training, documentation, and support workflows — Guru Cards, the Instructor Guide GPT, and the Faculty Showcase Course — that help faculty and instructional designers do their best work. My aim is to lower the barrier to adoption, so a new tool feels like support rather than one more thing to figure out.

  • Scalable Course Quality

I build the systems that raise quality across many courses at once, not one at a time. Through master templates, Quality Matters readiness, CourseWell analysis, and reusable design frameworks, I help make strong, accessible course design the default rather than the exception — so quality scales with the institution instead of depending on any single course.
